Christmas Festivities in Lausanne
The Lausanne shopkeepers and City Management are welcoming you in Lausanne!
As every end of year, the city gets the occasion to make up streets and shops with lights and glitters. The smells of groove, grilled chestnuts and Vin chaud are enriching this decoration reminding to each, young and old, that Christmas is approaching!
This year, the traditional Christmas market is taking place in St-François. You will discover lots of craftsmen and certainly not resist tasting a delicious Raclette.
2011, the year of forests!
The lumberjack village will be set up on Place Pépinet. The kids will appreciate the pony rides as well as lots of other entertainments. As a tradition, everybody will be able to assist to our performance of the Nativity. But, this is not all, in this program, you will discover many other activities during this Christmas period.
